The
School at Northeast
Overview
The School at
Northeast is a co-ed special education program for 152 students in
grades 6-12. Students typically served cope with multiple problems
including educational disabilities, family instability, emotional trauma
delinquency, mental illness, truancy, and substance abuse. The school
offers a full curriculum in a structured and supportive learning
environment, providing students with a variety of academic,
recreational, and vocational opportunities.

* A team of professionals who work with each student to
help meet academic and personal goals
* Seven self-contained and nine departmentalized
classrooms
* Classes of 8-12 students with one teacher and one

* Individual, group, and family therapy
* On-site clinicians
* Door-to-door transportation to and from school
* Computerized classrooms with assistive technology
