Overview of
Residential Services
Northeast's residential Children's Home
is a five unit treatment center serving 68 at-risk males and females
ages 11-18 who are referred through county Departments of Social
Services based on PINS, JD, Abuse/Neglect, and Voluntary petitions filed
through Family Court systems. Youth typically served are dealing with
multiple issues including: family instability, emotional trauma,
delinquency, mental health, truancy, running away, substance abuse, and
various issues of risk that make it unsafe for them to remain in the
home or in the community.

Educational Services
* All Children’s Home youth attend The
School at Northeast, an alternative education program for students in
grades 6-12.
* Self-contained special educational classrooms

Our Children’s Home receives referrals

* All staff are trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
* 24-hour, 7 day per week staff supervision

* The eight-bed Hard-To-Serve Program on our Mohawk Dorm provides
intensified staffing for male youth who present with
complex psychiatric and behavioral histories.
