For children affected by poverty, violence, abandonment, school failure, and emotional trauma, success may seem impossible. But together, we can guide our most vulnerable young people toward a better tomorrow.
Within two years, Northeast plans to move
Youth Career Services into the new Northeast Parent & Child Center.
Youth Career Services will serve 250 youth per year from Schenectady
County who need to earn their GED and secure jobs that support
themselves and their families. Youth Career Services is the lynchpin to
ensuring that adolescents in Northeast's care become
self-sufficient
adults who add value to their community once they leave the foster care
system.
