Northeast Parent
& Child Society is constructing a new Children's Home at our
current Schenectady campus on Park Avenue. Once the new
building is completed, residents will move in, and the old
building will be demolished. This approach is less expensive
than renovating the existing building, and avoids any
interruption in caring for our residents.
The New
Children's Home will feature:

design with safety and increased security

8 dormitories
with only eight beds each

Private
bedrooms and bathrooms with secured doors and windows

Large open
common areas with high ceilings and ambient light

20,000
square feet of new space for family treatment meetings,
recreation, learning, and career development
